Both Colleges are celebrating as students' depart for many of the Times Top 10 and 20 universities including Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics, Warwick, Durham and University College London.
A new record has been set for CATS Cambridge with a 7% increase in students achieving A-B grades this year. Over 38% of the grades achieved were grade A which smashes the UK national average of 26.7% and is an outstanding achievement for the College.
CATS Canterbury has achieved an equally impressive result. Principal Marie-Louise Banning comments:
"Once again our students have excelled themselves and are now being rewarded for their efforts. My congratulations go to all students and the dedicated team of tutors who helped them achieve their goals."
Chen Liang Chen who achieved AAAA at CATS Cambridge enthuses:
"Being a student at CATS Cambridge has really helped me achieve my goals and I have exceeded all my expectations. The environment here has encouraged me to take responsibility for my own learning and that will really help me achieve success in the future. My tutors have become friends and motivated me to achieve my potential. I am looking forward to a new environment at University but will miss CATS very much - the small classes, the tutors, everything about it."
Chen has accepted a place at University College London to study Chemistry with Maths.
