Care & development

We want to make sure that you will remember your time at CSVPA for the rest of your life - and for all the right reasons!

Extensive support network

We have a comprehensive and experienced team of welfare and support staff, dedicated to ensuring the happiness, safety and security of all our students. This team includes:

  • Trained counsellors
  • Native language tutors
  • School nurse
  • Residential supervisors (one to every thirteen students)

Settling in

Starting out in a new School and a new City can be daunting. We are experienced at putting new students at ease and ensuring finding your way around is hassle-free. The welcome process includes:

  • good pre-arrival communication - with details about your accommodation, programme of study, start dates and timetable
  • facilities for you to contact your parents when you arrive
  • a welcome induction, campus tour and tutor introduction
  • clear classroom directions throughout the School
  • a good programme of extra-curricular activities to help you make friends

Getting to know you

We hope our welcome process allows you to get stuck into your studies straight away, but our concern in your welfare doesn't stop after the first few days!

Throughout your time with us we keep in close contact with you to ensure we get to know you well. We will celebrate your successes and provide confidential support if you have any problems.

This is achieved through:

  • regular communication with parents and guardians
  • experience in special learning needs such as dyslexia
  • issues identified quickly through regular supervision and contact
  • 24-hour emergency assistance

For international students, we will also help with:

  • airport transfers (if requested)
  • banking and pocket money
  • visa renewal
  • police registration
  • registering you with a Doctor
  • advice on local religious and cultural organisations.
