Emanuel Ungaro visits Cambridge
Cambridge University fashion students were privileged to receive advice from world famous fashion designer Emanuel Ungaro recently.
Ungaro’s visit to Cambridge was the first in a series of events planned in partnership with leading Education and Cultural Consultancy EdmissionUK.
Born to Italian parents, Ungaro moved to Paris at 22 years old and rapidly became an influential part of its famous fashion industry. He launched his first Prêt-a-Porter collection in 1968 and since then has become an icon of the fashion world.
Ungaro is keen to pass on his experience and skill to aspiring fashion students, as is reflected in this latest project.
The visit was filmed by Pleased as Punch Productions, a film company led by CATS Cambridge tutor Matt Harris, and can be viewed on the EdmissionUK website.
